Oxfam Ethical Christmas Melbourne

Oxfam Ethical Christmas - Training + action, Sunday 27th November @Karibu Markets, Brunswick

Some of your favourite fashion brands are hiding the truth about where their clothes are made. Without this information, we’re all shopping in the dark this Christmas and our hard-earned dollars could be indirectly funding poor working conditions in factories in countries like Bangladesh, Cambodia and Indonesia. Oxfam supporters and conscious consumers, like you, have been instrumental in getting big garment companies to be better. In the last 3 years alone, 10 major Australian clothing companies have taken action on worker safety in Bangladesh as a direct result of you asking them to.

This Christmas join Oxfam as we launch an Ethical Christmas Campaign asking the country’s biggest and most popular brands to come clean. Join with other members of Oxfam Community to learn about the work and then hit up the wonderful Karibu Markets to get campaigning.
