From petition blitzing, street art, photo exhibitions and market stalls; Oxfam activists have been amplifying Pacific voices and ramping up expectations of the Australian government during the first 100 days after the election.
A clear majority of Australians want the Government to commit to stronger action on climate change and to play its fair part in global efforts. Australia must ramp up action to cut climate pollution, reach 100% renewable energy as soon as possible, and do more to support those on the front line.
It’s time to stop being part of the problem and be part of the solution. Australia has everything to gain by standing with the Pacific and embracing a pollution-free future.
