Join us to celebrate the commitment of Oxfam supporters to ending poverty, as well as for discussion about Oxfam’s work and hear about what’s to come in 2017.

You’ll meet and hear from inspiring staff and supporters including our special guest Ngarra Murray, National Programs Lead for Oxfam’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples’ Program.

Ngarra Murray is a Wamba Wamba Yorta Yorta woman and grew up in Melbourne and Shepparton. Prior to working at Oxfam Australia, Ngarra worked at North Yarra Community Health, The University of Melbourne, City of Melbourne and Museum Victoria. Ngarra also volunteers for the Pastor Sir Douglas and Lady Gladys Nicholls Memorial Project, and is one of the Director’s on the Dhudhuroa Waywurru Nations Aboriginal Corporation. She is a passionate artist and is involved in many cultural heritage and art projects in her community. She is the mother of three young children and the second oldest of 12 siblings.

Other special guests include Anthea Spinks, Associate Director of Program Partnerships at Oxfam and Dennis Goldner, Oxfam Board Member.

Food will be provided and drinks can be purchased at the bar. Get in quick as spaces are limited and this promises to be a very special evening.
