Wednesday, November 16th, 6pm (for 6.30), @ Tavern 42 Degrees South

Join us to celebrate the commitment of Oxfam supporters to ending poverty, as well as for discussion about Oxfam’s work and hear about what’s to come in 2017.

You’ll meet and hear from inspiring staff and supporters including our special guest James Riturban, Portfolio Manager at Oxfam.

James oversees Oxfam Australia’s engagement and relationships with Oxfam country offices in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the Middle East, including the occupied Palestinian Territory and the Syria Response. James has over eleven years of experience in international development and humanitarian programming, with a thematic focus on livelihoods and food security, from Southeast, South, and Central Asia, the Middle East, and East Africa with several NGOs. He is originally from California, USA, and he has been living in Melbourne for almost 3 years with his partner, Trent, and their two dogs, Charlie and Lola.

Other special guests include Mark Pryn, Oxfam Board Member and Yvette Petersen, Associate Director of Fundraising & Supporter Engagement.

Food will be provided and drinks can be purchased at the bar. Get in quick as spaces are limited and this promises to be a very special evening.
