Campaigns Training
NSW

Come along to these open-invite training sessions and learn the
vital skills that you'll need to help Oxfam in the fight against poverty!

Oxfam Australia CEO Helen Szoke with dedicated Oxfam Activists.

If you want to become a killer campaigner, you’ll need some certain skills up your sleeve. And this is where we come in!

On the second Thursday of every month* our Community Campaigner for New South Wales Molly Coburn will be hosting relevant and specific training sessions that follow the progress of our campaigns. These training sessions will equip you with all the tricks of the trade – from dealing with the media, to paying your local MP a visit, to creating an effective and targeted campaign tactic (and everything in between).

Training will occur from 6pm til 8pm in our Surry Hills office. It’s open invite, so please feel free to bring a friend along. Please see our training schedule below, and email Mollyc@oxfam.org.au if you’d like to be added to our mailing list to keep up with any changes!

And don’t forget to come along to our Sydney Oxfam Activist Group (the FIRST Thursday of every month) to put these skills to good use!

*And twice in February to catch up on lost time!
